1. Story : The Law - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Very nice, I can almost hear the theme from "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly". "The ships hung there in the sky in much the same way that bricks don't." Douglas Adams

2. Latest patch - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Thanks for the prompt fix. I can now log on. However, I think the biggest problem for me at the moment is either the size of some asteroids, or the painfull slowness of getting around them. PLEASE do something to stop players from warping in the w...

3. How to deal with ore thieves. As demonstrated by the Ylandoki community. - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Ok, so that's the issue. The items are not discarded. They are left there for later retrieval. BTW, Blue operates by trying to get people to either accidentaly or not, accept a gang invitation. Then he warps in and tries to steal anything lying ...

4. How to deal with ore thieves. As demonstrated by the Ylandoki community. - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Right, I agree. Theft is part of the game. I have no problem with that. It's the fact that there are no consequences. If you go shoot somebody, your sec. rating goes down why not if you steal people's ore? Maybe there should be a time limit before...

BTW, it was JUST a suggestion. But I feel people are justified for being frustrated at people who make off with their stuff. I thought it was funny, apparently some of you don't. Oh well. It's good to hear you POV's. "The ships hung there in the ...

6. How to deal with ore thieves. As demonstrated by the Ylandoki community. - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Sheesh, people are touchy here. My corp (and we are not alone) has a practice of dumping ore from small ships and then picking it up with larger ones. The guy mentioned here was merely trying to get on people's nerves. He admitted that he was stea...

7. Ships that are missing from Eve - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Fighters outdated. Bah! I think that a small ship with a gun, and the capability to launch some fairly heavy missiles would be a very usefull asset indeed. Fighters would work just fine if they could be controlled like drones, but with slightly ...

8. Poetry contest - win a cash prize! - in Intergalactic Summit [original thread]
p.s. I would like to make it clear that my first entry is not to be taken seriously. Just a joke. The second is the one I will be backing. "The ships hung there in the sky in much the same way that bricks don't." Douglas Adams

9. Poetry contest - win a cash prize! - in Intergalactic Summit [original thread]
Ok, now in a more serious tone: Call of the void. From darkness came the universe, now dulled by years of song and verse. Still stars glow bright. Still spirals shine. Slow light brings news of distant times. Untamed and waiting, the dark still...

10. Poetry contest - win a cash prize! - in Intergalactic Summit [original thread]
Is a parody ok? The pirate was evil, and yes he was happy, (ki-yippee I oh) Blowin' up indy's at his gate block. (ki-yippee I oh) When unseem to him came a Thorax, (ki-yippee I oh) and that's when the pirate got quite a shock. and the pirate shou...

Edited by: Jordan McKell on 29/08/2003 21:27:53 First I had better explain that Blueflame is a very well known ore theif in my area. No doubts about his honesty. Following is the chat log from today with comments inserted. On our way through...
